Streetspace/BeatScape consists of two events: BeatScape and Streetspace.
BeatScape is a new concept that features influential national and international electronic dance musicians. The events will take place on four different occasions (06-30, 07-28, 08-18 and 09-08) with varying artists.
Streetspace is a pre-existing open-air exhibition that features emerging mural artists from all over the country. Last year this event occured on September 16th and was a huge success. This year the mural will rotate twice (07-28 and 09-08) and will feature emerging musical talent.
The two events collide in the Lynn and Pearl alleys (6 PM to Midnight), surrounded by Broad Street, High Street, Gay Street and 3rd Avenue. At all four events you will also find a beer tent selling domestic and imported beer and area merchants promoting an eclectic assortment of contemporary goods.
